Cancellation Policy

We respectfully ask that you provide us with a 24-hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 24 hour notice we are often unable to fill that appointment time. This is an inconvenience to your therapist and means our other clients miss the chance to receive services they need. For this reason, you will be charged a 50% of the service fee for each session that is cancelled or changed within the 24-hour notice period and 100% of the service fee for each missed session. If you have a prepaid service on your account, it will be forfeited in lieu of the 100% No-Show fee.

Clients who have cancelled at the last minute or have failed to show up for a second appointment may be asked to prepay for future appointments.

If paying by gift card, this fee will be deducted from the gift card number provided. If no gift card number was provided, the fee will be charged to your account. If your account has a negative balance, we cannot accept future bookings until you come current with your account.

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.”

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Illness and Winter Weather

We understand emergencies and illnesses do occur. In an effort to maintain a healthy environment, we ask that if you are sick

(which includes a cold, a fever, the flu, etc.,) or have the onset of symptoms of an illness that you reschedule your appointment. Please cancel if you are ill within 24 hours of your appointment (and especially if you have a fever, have been in the hospital, or have been vomiting or had diarrhea).

Inclement Weather

If you cannot safely make it to your appointment due to severe weather, please call and let us know. No cancellation fee will apply for reschedules due to inclement weather. We ask that you provide at least 2 hours notice so that you can save your therapist a trip to the studio and or allow them to leave early.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE & POLICIES

To accommodate today’s busy lifestyle we do often have same day appointments available. However, to ensure that we are able to accommodate your preferred appointment times, we ask that you schedule with as much advance notice as possible.

*All Appointments are reserved with a credit card at the time of scheduling.

Age Requirement

We accept appointments for children under the age of 16 if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service and have a parent or guardian signed waiver. Children 16-18 years old are required to have a parent or guardian signed waiver and are not required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service unless requested by the therapist.

Payment

Full payment is due at time of service. We accept cash, checks & credit cards ( Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express).

Gift Cards

Gift Cards may be purchased for any value amount and are redeemable for massage services only – no cash value. Massage Prescott is not responsible for lost, stolen, unauthorized card or damaged cards. Cards may be replaced if a valid card number can be provided.

Therapists

If you prefer either a male or female therapist you can request this at the time of booking your appointment. If you have enjoyed your series of a particular therapist on a prior visit, feel free to request that person.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the prices of our services and always appreciated. 100% of the gratuities are given to the practitioner. Gratuities are at the client’s discretion but are customarily 15-20% of the regular cost of the service.

Health Considerations

Please inform us at the time of scheduling of any health conditions, allergies, special needs or concerns you may have. Your safety is important to us & massage may not be appropriate for certain conditions.

Communicating Your Preferences

Be sure to speak up. All aspects of your massage session can be modified to your preference: pressure ( too light, or too deep), lightning in the room, style of music, temperature, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence.

Cell Phones

In our effort to maintain a relaxing & tranquil atmosphere for clients, we ask that all cell phones be silenced or turned off upon entering our studio.

Insurance Billing

We do not offer direct insurance billing at this time.

Inappropriate Behavior Policy

Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any suggestive, joke, gesture, advances, remarks, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of all services in the future. You will be charged the full-service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. If you become blacklisted, any prepaid services will be forfeited and deleted from your account with no refund. Treat your therapist with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.
